  Columbia River Gorge

Nesmith Point Trail

One of the most prominent outcrops on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge, it is the long-gone site of an old fire lookout and is often used by mountain climbers in training. Starting at John B. Yeon State Park, the trail is steep and a good stamina builder but you'll also have some great views of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Beacon Rock, Table & Hamilton Mountains, and most of the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge.
